The ICSC Conference was held last September 16 – 18 in Los Angeles. I’m Mike Lin, a commercial real estate broker with 5 years experience in the industry and here are my 4 Key takeaway from the International Council of Shopping Centers Conference:
1. Corporate tenants are expanding but they are being cautious and keeping costs and risks to a minimum.
2. Retail vacancy rates are at a 5 year low and rents are at a 5 year high
3. The split roll ballot initiative is coming up in November 2020
